Registering for a tournament
When you can register, what the on-site check-in is for, and when you get knocked out.
You find the tournaments on the event page and in the Championships view. You can register if the organizer has opened registration, the tournament hasn't started yet, and there is a free spot. Registration is closed by default, the organizer opens it.
Registering
- Open the tournament page.
- Choose which of your teams you would register with: you must be an accepted member of it.
- Mark exactly who plays: you must choose as many players as the team size of the tournament.
- Confirm the registration.
A person can only play in one team in a tournament. If someone is already registered with another team, the system rejects the registration and shows their name.
On the tournament page you see how many teams have registered compared to the maximum. If it is full, registration closes. If the organizer has previously banned your team, you can't register for their tournaments. The members of the team get a notification about this.
On-site check-in
The organizer does the check-in in the panel: they mark which registered team showed up. If they haven't checked in any team, the system draws everyone; but if they used the feature, only the checked-in teams go into the draw.
You can't withdraw a registration from the app. If you can't play after all, tell the organizer: before the tournament starts they can remove you from the field. After the start the field no longer changes.
