Using the app without an account

What you can browse without logging in, and what still needs an account.

On the start screen, the Continue as guest option lets you enter the app without logging in. This way you can see what's going on around you before you create an account.

Available as a guest

• Browsing events and their details.
• The map and the venues.
• Organizer and venue profile pages.

This needs an account

• Requesting a reminder for an event, and on-site check-in.
• The Gallery tab: photos from events.
• Your profile: the streak, quests and your past events.
• Beer pong: teams, registration, tournaments.
• Friends and notifications.

If you open a screen that needs an account, the app tells you why and takes you to registration with a single button. In the top right corner of the home screen there is also a Get started button for guests, which leads to the same place.

As a guest we don't store anything for your account, because you don't have one yet. Browsing isn't "saved": after registering you start with a clean slate, but you can still find the events you looked at before.
