Entry with tickets: QR code and manual search
Scanning the tickets' QR code in the Vibelify app, manual search, and the live entry count.
Tickets are checked in two places: your staff scan the QR code with the scanner of the Vibelify app, while manual search and the live count are available on the Check-in page of the admin interface.
Scanning the QR code
- Add the people who check tickets on the Staff page.
- The staff member opens the Vibelify app, and scans the QR code of the guest's ticket with the scanner button.
- For a valid ticket the scanner shows the ticket type and serial number, and the ticket counts as checked in. The scanner rejects an invalid code, or the ticket of an organizer the staff member doesn't belong to.
Only users added on the Staff page can scan tickets. The same permission also covers redeeming quest rewards, so give it only to someone trustworthy.
Manual search
If the guest can't show the QR code, on the Check-in page type their email address, the order number or the ticket's serial number into the search box (at least two characters). On the result you can let them in with the Check in button. For someone already checked in, the Checked in label is shown.
Live count
At the top of the page you see how many of the issued tickets have been checked in, and how this is divided by ticket type. The data refreshes by itself every few seconds, you don't have to reload the page.
Can the same ticket be scanned twice?
No: the system doesn't let an already checked-in ticket in again. This protects against the ticket being shared or copied.
Do I need internet for it?
Yes, both scanning and manual check-in verify with the server, so the staff need a wired or mobile connection.
