Deleting your account
What is deleted, what stays, and that the step can't be undone.
You can delete your account under Settings → Session. Deletion is final, and we can't restore it afterwards. It works even if we have restricted your account in the meantime.
What is deleted
- Your account, your username and your profile picture.
- Your reminders, check-ins and event ratings.
- Your friends, your sent and received invitations, your blocks and your notifications.
- The record of your quest progress and your redemptions.
- Your team memberships, and the teams you founded, together with their matches.
What may remain
A team you were only invited to as a member stays with its founder: your membership ends there, and the team's matches remain for the integrity of the tournament. The photos uploaded to the gallery expire according to their own 30-day lifetime from upload, so they may disappear with some delay even after deletion. If you want it sooner, delete them before deleting your account, see the managing photos article. If there was a moderation decision that concerned you, we keep its record because of a legal obligation.
Before deleting it is worth downloading your data, because afterwards there will be no way to. See the downloading your data article.
If you logged in with an Apple account, on deletion we also revoke access towards Apple. If this doesn't work at that moment, the data of your account is deleted anyway.
