Announcing a quest

Conditions, reward, limits, and how it is redeemed on site.

A quest is good for bringing guests back: you set a condition, and whoever fulfils it gets a reward on site. You create it from the panel's Quests page.

What you must provide

The three selectable conditions

The "Free discount" is a separate option in the interface, but in the system it means a single check-in. So whoever was there once has already completed it.

All three conditions are built on on-site check-in. A quest can't be built on requesting a reminder: the reminder button can be pressed from the couch too, so it wouldn't prove anything.

Expiry and closing

Redemption on site

The person who completes it gets a QR code in the app, which your staff scan. In the staff member's app a floating button with a QR icon sits at the bottom of the screen: this opens the scanner. After scanning, the user's name and the reward to hand over appear.

We record redemptions, so in a dispute it can be checked afterwards who redeemed when. The scanner rejects the code of an already redeemed or meanwhile deleted quest, and says why.

A reward for an alcoholic drink can only be given to someone over 18. Checking age is the venue's job.
