On-site ticket sales at the gate

Issuing a ticket on site for cash or card, with an instant QR code and a daily summary.

The On-site sales page is a simple cash desk: you choose the ticket type and the quantity, record how the buyer paid, and the system immediately issues the ticket with a QR code.

1. Choose the ticket type.
2. Enter the quantity. The screen shows the amount to collect from the buyer: the ticket price plus the system usage fee.
3. Choose the payment method: Cash or Bank card.
4. You can enter the buyer's name and email, but it is not required.
5. Click the Issue ticket button.

The QR codes of the issued tickets appear on the page, and can also be downloaded. On site they can be scanned the same way as an online purchased ticket.

The payment method is only a record: the system doesn't take the money from anywhere, you handle the payment directly with the buyer. The daily summary and the on-site report are based on this.

Daily summary

At the top of the page it shows how many tickets you sold that day, what today's revenue is, and how this is divided between cash and bank card. You find the more detailed daily breakdown on the Reports page, see the Reports article.

An issued ticket is final, and immediately reduces the available quantity of the ticket type. The system can't refund on-site tickets, you handle that. A ticket can't be issued for an event that has ended.

Do I need Barion for it?

No Barion payment takes place for on-site sales. To create ticket types, though, you need the Barion and invoicing connection.

Can someone else sell on site in my name?

Yes: your promoters sell tickets from their own sales accounts, with commission. See the Sales groups article.
