Friends

Adding a friend, handling requests, and what they see about you.

You can search for a friend by username on the Friends screen: type at least two characters. Adding sends a request that the other person has to accept; until then it stays in the "Sent" state.

Requests

You find incoming requests among your notifications, and you can accept or decline them with one tap. The other person is notified about acceptance, but not about a decline.

What being friends means

• You appear in each other's friend lists with your username and profile picture.
• You can invite each other to events. Invitations can only be sent to friends.

Your friend doesn't see your location: the map shows traffic tied to events, not people. For details see the map and location article.

You can end a friendship at any time from your friend list, without a separate notification.
