Sign up and log in

Creating an account with email, Apple or Google, and what you need for it.

You don't need an account to use Vibelify, but most features require you to be logged in. If you just want to look around, read the article on guest mode.

Creating an account

Open the app and choose Get started.
Pick a username. This is how your friends will find you.
Enter your date of birth.
On the last screen, enter your email and password, or choose Sign up with Apple or Sign up with Google.
If you sign up with email, confirm your address with the code you receive in the email.

Sign in with Apple only appears on iPhone and Sign in with Google only on Android: on each platform we offer the familiar way to sign in.

The username

A username can be 3 to 24 characters long and may only contain letters without accents, numbers, underscores (_) and hyphens (-). Accents and spaces are not allowed. The app tells you as you type if the name is taken or has the wrong format. You can change it later in the settings, see the account settings article.

Why we ask for your date of birth

Age matters in several places: events can have their own age limit, and rewards containing alcohol can only be given to people over 18. Under 16, registration requires the consent of a parent or guardian, which you confirm with a checkbox when you enter your date of birth.

We don't publish your date of birth, and it doesn't appear on your profile for others.

Accepting the terms

The account is only created if you have accepted the Privacy Notice and the Terms of Use. With email registration this is on the last screen, with an Apple or Google account it is on the name selection screen.

The confirmation code doesn't arrive.

Check your spam folder. If it isn't there after a few minutes, you can request a new one with the Resend button on the confirmation screen. The button becomes active again after a short wait.

I forgot my password.

On the login screen, use the "Forgot your password?" link to request a new password by email.
