Finding events

How to find out what is happening near you tonight.

The home screen shows the upcoming events of your selected city, in chronological order. What starts soon is at the top. An event stays in the list for 5 hours after it starts, then it drops off.

City and surroundings

The city name is at the top of the home screen: tap it to choose another. If you granted location permission, the app sets the city closest to you on launch, otherwise it starts from Budapest. We remember your choice. You can read more about location in the map article.

At the bottom of the list, the ELSEWHERE section lists the other cities with how many events are in them right now. If there is nothing in your own city, the empty screen also offers the nearest city that has something on.

Search

The search looks at the event title and the venue name, within the selected city. There are no separate filters (genre, price, date).

The event page

Tapping an event slides up its page: the cover image, title, time, venue, description and the organizer. If the event is happening right now, it gets a HAPPENING NOW label. From here you can ask for a reminder, share the event, and if the organizer has set up ticket sales, the Buy tickets button takes you to it. The button leads to the organizer's ticket page: this can be an external ticket seller (e.g. Cooltix) or Vibelify's own ticket page. The organizer sells the ticket, Vibelify is only an intermediary platform. Purchased tickets do not appear in the app: you get them by email and on the order page.

Following an organizer

The Follow button is on the event page and on the organizer's profile. If you follow someone, you get a notification when they announce a new event, and their quests appear on your profile. You can undo it at any time by pressing the button again.

The event details are uploaded and maintained by the organizer. If you see a discrepancy, you can find their contact details on the organizer's page.
