The event gallery

Photos of finished events, shared afterwards by the organizers.

The Gallery is the second tab of the bottom menu. You find the photos taken at events here, grouped by event. The gallery requires login: it isn't available as a guest.

Only the organizer uploads the photos. As a user you can't upload photos: neither with the camera nor from your phone's photo library. If you heard otherwise earlier, it no longer works that way.

When the photos appear

The organizer can only upload photos for an event that has already ended: this option opens for them 5 hours after the event starts. This is why the gallery always fills up afterwards, not during the party.

When the first photo arrives for an event, we send a notification to those who checked in at it. Anyone who is logged in can look at the gallery regardless of that. Checking in is only the condition for the notification.

What you can do in the gallery

• You can search by event or organizer name.
• Tap a photo to view it full screen, and swipe sideways to page through.
• The Download button saves the photo to your phone's photo library, the Share button sends it on.
• The Report button lets you flag a problem with a photo, see the report article.

How long they stay available

The photos are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. If you want to keep one, download it in time.

A downloaded photo doesn't get a watermark, and the file name doesn't contain the name of the event.
